In accordance with Governor Baker’s phased plan to re-open the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Town of Sandwich has established a list of services which may be conducted on-line in an effort to encourage physical distancing and promote “safer at home.”

Building Dept. Online Permitting
All inspections must be scheduled via telephone (508-888-4200).
Building Inspections begin at 9:30 am through completion, Monday through Friday and can be scheduled the day prior but no later than 9:30 am the day of the requested inspection.
Plumbing/Gas/Electrical Inspections begin at 9:00 am through completion. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and can be scheduled the day prior but no later than 9:00 am the day of the requested inspection.

Engineering Services
All major services can be provided for remotely please contact sjensen@sandwichmass.org
Engineering administers public works bidding electronically. Advertisements may be found on the Town website’s Bids & Proposals Page.
Plan submissions and Applications for Driveway Permits are also administered electronically.

Title V Septic System permitting and applications can be provided via email. Please contact the Health Department.

Natural Resources Online
Anyone having questions regarding Conservation Commission permits, wildlife issues, conservation lands maps, public access to water and other environmental related issues can reach us electronically at our Natural Resources Department and the Conservation Commission.

Town Collector Online
Pay online for Excise Tax, Personal Property Tax, Real Estate Tax and Boat Excise Tax. When paying by check, the ACH fee is 40 cents. When paying by a credit/debit cared a convenience fee of 2.95% of the transaction amount with a $1.95 minimum fee will be assessed to your credit card payments. Pay online here.
