INVITATION FOR BIDS 

THE TOWN OF SANDWICH will receive SEALED BIDS for the structural repairs to the East gable end of the Sandwich Hollows Clubhouse located at 1 Round Hill Rd, Sandwich MA, 02537. Copies of the Instructions to Bidders, Bid Forms, and Specifications will be available Friday, December 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM by contacting the Facilities Department, Town of Sandwich, 130 Main St., Sandwich, MA 02563, via email at bschlegel@sandwichmass.org. Sealed Bids shall be received until 10:00AM on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Town Hall Auditorium, at 130 Main St, Sandwich, Massachusetts, 02563. If the Town Offices are closed on January 8, 2020 due to inclement weather or other unforeseen reason or emergency the Bid Opening will be at 10:00 AM the next business day. 

The Bids will be awarded at a meeting of the Selectboard. 

A PRE-BID MEETING will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday December 31, 2019 at Sandwich Hollows Clubhouse located at 1 Round Hill Rd, Sandwich, MA 02537. Interested bidders should meet at that address at the Main Entrance of the building to sign in for the walk through. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in. 

The Awarding Authority reserves the right to determine the ability of any bidder to perform the work and any Bidder shall, upon request of the Awarding Authority, furnish such information as may be necessary to determine such ability, including a performance bond, if requested. 

The Awarding Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received where such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of the Awarding Authority. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to accept any bid when it is determined to be in the best interest of the Town of Sandwich to do so.
