Extension of Real Estate and Personal Property Tax Bills
Fiscal Year 2020 Q4 Real Estate and Personal Property Tax Bills:
- Due Date has been extended to June 1, 2020 from the original due date of May 1, 2020
- Deadline Date for Real Estate Exemptions and Deferral Applications has been extended to June 1, 2020 from the original Deadline Date of April 1, 2020
During the Current Public Health Emergency, the Town Collector’s office is closed to the Public. However, there remain several payment options available to the public. Payments can be made via:
- Online Payment through the Town Website - There is a fee of $0.40 when paying by check and 2.95% when paying by credit or debit card
- Payments via Mail – All payments can be mailed to Town of Sandwich, Town Collector’s Office, 145 Main Street, Sandwich , MA 02563
- Payment Drop Box – There is a black payment drop box in front of the Town Hall Annex at 145 Main Street. Payments made via check can be placed in this drop box .
Further, during the Current Public Health Emergency, the Assessing Department is also closed to the Public. Requests for exemption and deferrals can be made by contacting the Department at assessing@sandwichmass.org. Completed applications should be mailed to, Sandwich Assessing Department, 16 Jan Sebastian Drive, Sandwich, MA 02563.
