The Town of Sandwich Transfer Station continues to operate Wednesday thru Sunday from 8am to 4pm.

• Trash, standard recyclables (cans, plastics, bottles) and books are the only items accepted.
• Books have been added to this list as they are being recycled into toilet paper and paper towels to address the shortage of these products.
• Yard Waste is not being accepted but some options include home composting (see “Related Documents” at https://www.sandwichmass.org/405/Recycling) or disposal at local yard waste disposal facilities.
• Please note that Sandwich Little League is not accepting returnable bottle donations at this time. 
• When entering the Transfer Station, the Town requests that residents adhere to recommended COVID-19 preventative measures such as social distancing and wearing masks.  
• In an effort to reduce crowds and maintain 6 feet of separation, the Town has limited parking at the drop-off areas.  While effective, it has caused backups at the Transfer Station site drive.  We advise all users to avoid peak periods, such as Sunday, if you can attend during other days of the week.
