Winter Storm is forecasted for the Sandwich area Wednesday night 12/16/2020, and is anticipated to bring 12"+ of snow and heavy wind to region.  

The Department of Public Works is gearing up equipment and supplies, and town staff is ready to assist with storm clearing effort. 

That said, we are short on contractors to assist with clearing neighborhood roads, and ask for patience and understanding from residents as there may be delays with regard to storm cleanup.

The Town of Sandwich Transfer Station will be closed until cleanup efforts are completed, and we hope to reopen Friday 12/18/2020.

Residents are asked to remove vehicles parked along area roadways and cul-de-sacs, as these vehicles can hinder clearing efforts.
