The Health Department has posted an Advisory as of 7/15/2021 at 10AM for the Town Recreational Facility at Oakcrest Cove for the Peters Pond Town Public Beach.  The Peters Pond Town Public Beach has an Advisory posted out of caution due to the observance of a Cyanobacteria bloom at the Peters Pond Public  Beach.   Testing of Peters Pond Public Beach will occur today (Thursday, July 15, 2021).  The results will be posted as soon as the results are available.  The Recreation Department is implementing alternative measures for beach programs.  The Department of Natural Resources is aware of the advisory posting.  The advisory shall remain in place until a determination is made that conditions have subsided.
