October 2021 - Nor'easter - 5pm Recovery Update - Town of Sandwich - A warming shelter will be open, as needed, at the Human Services Building on Quaker Meetinghouse Road, until 10PM this evening and will reopen tomorrow (Friday) morning at 8:30AM. Eversource continues to provide significant effort to restore power to critical assets but Sandwich still has more than 50% of our services without power. At this time, Eversource is still projecting 99% recovery by Saturday evening. For progress updates please follow the Eversource Outage Map included herein.
Town Offices and the Library will be open to the community tomorrow. Please look for another update mid-day tomorrow.
