Due to heavy snow forecasted for the Sandwich area, the Department of Public Works is asking all area residents to remove their vehicles from the road shoulders and municipal parking lots, to allow for equipment to clear the roadways. Vehicles parking along area roadways risk damage from plow equipment during low visibility, and can interrupt the snow clearing effort.
