The Town of Sandwich proclaims June 12, 2022 and every second Sunday in June as Race Amity Day.  During its meeting on May 26, 2022 the Sandwich Board of Selectmen adopted and proclaimed Race Amity Day. This proclamation recognizes civility, respect, friendship and kindness as shared values and invites families and neighbors to join in introspection and reflection on the beauty and richness of the diverse peoples of this great nation while reaching out with a spirit of amity toward one another annually on the second Sunday in June.
