Residents of Upper Cape have access to 24 HHW events in 2023, with 2 events taking place in their region. If your town residents need to attend another town's event, make sure to register and pay through kalliope.chute@capecod.gov. Also, there's a cape-wide water-based paint takeback on 8/5!
Fun facts: In 2022, over 600,970 pounds of hazardous waste were collected from over 6,200 residents on Cape Cod, and over 71 pounds of mercury were collected in 2023 through HHW events. Remember, HHW and VSQG collection events help protect our environment, health, and safety!
